| Mimix Broadband, Inc. Introduces High Gain, QFN Plastic Packaged Buffer
Amplifier Delivering +30.5 dBm OIP3
Versatile Device Covers 37 to 40 GHz for PTP Applications
September 21, 2009, Houston, Texas - Mimix Broadband, Inc. introduces
today a buffer amplifier offered in a standard RoHS compliant 3x3mm QFN
plastic package, making the device easy to implement and handle in
volume applications. This buffer amplifier, identified as XB1014-QT,
covers 37 to 40 GHz and delivers +20 dBm P1dB compression point and
+30.5 dBm OIP3. The XB1014-QT has 21 dB small signal gain and is ideal
for wireless communications applications such as point-to-point (PTP)
microwave radio.
"The XB1014-QT is a perfect choice as a driver amplifier in the 38 GHz
microwave radio band," stated David Richardson, Product Line Director,
Mimix Broadband, Inc. "This device provides users with a highly linear,
high gain driver stage, and the innovation of a high performance 40 GHz
amplifier in a plastic 3x3mm QFN package."
Mimix performs 100% RF testing on the XB1014-QT. Samples are available
today from stock, and production quantities will be available in 4-6
weeks. Technical support is also available from Mimix's applications
engineers at 281.988.4600. The datasheet and additional product
information can be obtained from the Mimix Broadband website at
