| Mimix Broadband, Inc. Introduces 10 to 16 GHz Highly Integrated, QFN
Packaged Receiver
XR1015-QH Delivers 2.5 dB Noise Figure and 12 dB Conversion Gain
July 25, 2008, Houston, Texas - Mimix Broadband, Inc. introduces today a
10 to 16 GHz GaAs pHEMT SMT packaged receiver that integrates a low
noise amplifier (LNA), image reject mixer and LO buffer amplifier within
a fully molded 4x4mm QFN package. This RoHS-compliant, packaged receiver
has a noise figure of 2.5 dB and conversion gain of 12 dB. The image
reject mixer eliminates the need for a bandpass filter after the LNA to
remove thermal noise at the image frequency. This device is well suited
for point-to-point radio, LMDS, SatCom and VSAT applications.
"The XR1015-QH is a high-performance, fully molded 4x4mm QFN packaged
receiver that offers an integrated solution for multiple receive
applications and allows a customer to build a complete SMT receiver with
just the one component," stated Paul Beasly, Product Manager. "The
device is unique due to its small standard package size, inclusion of
high levels of on-chip ESD protection structures, and combination of low
noise figure, high conversion gain and linearity across the band. "
The device is 100% RF and DC tested. Engineering samples are available
today from stock, with a lead time of 14 weeks for production
quantities. Technical support is also available from Mimix's
applications engineers at 281.988.4600. The XR1015-QH datasheet and
additional product information can be obtained from the Mimix Broadband
