| Mimix Broadband, Inc. Introduces 2.5-6.0 / 5.0-12.0 GHz QFN Plastic
Packaged Active Doubler and Buffer Amplifier that Delivers +17 dBm
Output Power
Single, Positive Bias Supply Simplifies Design and Implementation
March 29, 2007, Houston, Texas - Mimix Broadband, Inc. introduces today
a 2.5 to 6.0 / 5.0 to 12.0 GHz InGaP HBT active doubler offered in a low
cost, 4x4mm QFN surface mount plastic package that is RoHS compliant.
Identified as the XX1002-QH, this device delivers +17 dBm output power,
has excellent fundamental rejection of 35 dBc, and offers the added
feature of a single bias supply. The device combines an active doubler
with an output buffer amplifier and provides an ideal solution for a
variety of applications, including microwave, point-to-point radio,
VSAT, and satellite communications.
"This broadband device provides a cost-effective and highly configurable
solution for the LO chain in multiple transceiver applications," stated
Paul Beasly, Product Manager, Mimix Broadband, Inc. "The inherently low
phase noise of the HBT technology maintains the advantage offered by
using a lower frequency oscillator/multiplier cascade, and offering the
device in a standard QFN plastic package with single, positive bias
supply makes the device easy to implement and handle in volume
applications."
Production quantities are available today from stock. Technical support
is also available from Mimix's applications engineers at 281.988.4600.
