Mimix Broadband, Inc. Announces Relocation of Its Corporate
Headquarters to New Facility in Houston, Texas
Facility Includes Newly Constructed Clean Room and Expanded
Area for Manufacturing, Assembly, Test and Engineering

17, 2002, Houston, Texas - Mimix Broadband, Inc. announced today
the relocation of its corporate headquarters to a new facility in
Houston, Texas where it will continue to operate an ISO 9001 certified
manufacturing, assembly, test and management facility. The 15,000
square foot facility includes a newly constructed Clean Room used
for wafer probe testing of monolithic microwave integrated circuits
(MMICs), die attaching and wire bonding. The Company's test capability
covers from DC to 50 GHz and includes automated and semi-automated
testing and handling of MMIC, module and sub-assembly products.
Electrical and mechanical design of evaluation modules, reference
designs and module products are also performed at the Houston headquarters.
In addition, Corporate Sales, Marketing and Applications Engineering
are located on-site.
Rick Montgomery, President of Mimix Broadband, Inc., stated, "This
new facility includes state-of-the-art automated and semi-automated
test and assembly equipment wgns, develops and markets high performance Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs)
for millimeter-wave wireless communications applications. Mimix
has assembled a team of world-class scientists that has been focused
on the development of state-of-the-art millimeter-wave MMICs for
the last decade. The Company also leverages strategic partnerships
for manufacturing in order to expedite the time-to-market cycle
