Mimix Broadband, Inc. Revs Up the 2002 IEEE MTT-S IMS in Seattle

June 25, 2002, Houston, Texas - Mimix Broadband was in high gear at this year's IEEE MTT-S Symposium and Exhibition. Seattle was the 2002 gathering spot for well over 500 exhibitors and 10,000 attendees, and Mimix Broadband's booth was one of the highlights. The Mimix X-Games were in full swing throughout the week, featuring Project Gotham Racing on Microsoft's X-BOX. Mimix racing T-shirts, tire stress balls, tire-tread CD cases and tote bags completed the theme. Mimix also participated in a variety of event activities, sponsoring a beverage service where thousands of Mimix Broadband stadium cups flooded the Convention Center and hosting an invitation-only happy hour.

Mimix debuted its new product catalog on CD-ROM at the show. The CD catalog contains the complete lineup of Mimix Broadband GaAs MMIC products, company information, application notes, and more. The hybrid media application allows users to obtain static information as well as data-intensive files, including video and graphics, that do not have to travel over the constrained Internet network. At the same time, Mimix can make immediate and transparent updates to its website that catalog users can also access - saving Mimix from the need to produce a new catalog version.

Mimix also hosted its first annual Sales Representative Training Session prior to the show. Mimix sales reps from around the world attended the meeting, which included sessions on Mimix products, applications and engineering support, fabless model strategy, and more. Following this wonderful day of learning and discussions, Mimix hosted a cocktail hour for the reps and company employees.
